Contribuiți la feedbackAvoid spending $8.25 on a 16 oz drink! We were left wondering if there was any espresso in it at all. It felt like a complete scam. The area is experiencing an ice shortage, but the barista didn't mention that our iced drink would only have five ice cubes, leaving it lukewarm. Whether you're in Glen Allen or not, paying $8.25 for this is ridiculous.
What really bothered me was not just the long wait time, but how the situation was handled. I felt hesitant to ask for a correction and it seemed like my request was an inconvenience for the staff. On a positive note, the food itself was good and the sausage was tasty. The drinks were nice as well, but with so much ice, they felt overpriced. There were no lactose-free options available, but we managed to work around that. Overall, being asked for a tip before we even placed our order, coupled with the disappointing drink portions and the incorrect order, left me with a negative impression of my experience.
This delightful little restaurant is definitely worth a stop. While there were limited vegetarian options, the build-your-own selections were ideal for our group. Everything we ordered was fresh, made to order, and served hot. We sampled both the burritos and the crepes, and all of them were delicious. Although it took a bit longer for our meals to be prepared, the wait was absolutely worth it! The prices were also quite reasonable.
This is the perfect place to take a break in the morning. We were traveling from Tok to Anchorage today, leaving early to arrive ahead of schedule. Our group of eight sampled a bit of everything, from burritos to crepes to French toast sticks, and everything was delicious. The menu had an impressive variety for such a small spot in the middle of nowhere. The staff, whom I believe were the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful. Make sure to plan your trip so you can stop here—it's definitely worth it!
Uncover this hidden gem while you're stopping to refuel your vehicle! The owner, Rob, is a lovely person. They offer a vegan version of hot chocolate, which is a nice addition. The menu includes drink specials inspired by Game of Thrones. I highly recommend trying the Khaleesi's Dream vanilla milkshake—it was amazing!
