Europa at the Bay - Glenelg

Amongst the franchise/chainstore section of Glenelg, this little boutique authentic Italian coffee shop is where I go if I want a decent coffee.

On a cold day at Glenelg with our pooches Europa was the place to go to warm up with a delicious coffee! With great coffee and amazing heaters we were happy

The sprooker on the street outside was very convincing this morning plus this cafe had less Lycra about than the others nearby.

Awful experience. We went out for a work lunch. Waited am hour for food. My pork belly was over cooked with soggy crackling and the potato underneath was actually cold! I didn't have time to send it back as we'd already waited so long. When I told the man when leaving he sulkily said "yeah, sorry". Not good enough for $35!

I went to the Europa Espresso Bar, which is I presume part of this restaurant, to get some gelato on a hot day. Sampled the hazelnut and pistachio flavours and was not impressed. The texture of the hazelnut was grainy without enough flavour. The pistachio tasted mainly like almond essence.
