The Bay House At Salishan

The food was great, and the service was excellent. They have a considerable selection of wines. While we might not rush to return, we certainly enjoyed our experience!

The food was outstanding! I was thoroughly pleased with everything. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, making our wedding celebration even more special. I enjoyed some well-seasoned scallops, a fresh salad, and for dessert, delicious pork chops and carrot cake. The portion sizes were pleasantly generous—I couldn't finish either the pork chops or the carrot cake!

I haven't been to Salishan for a few years, but it was a real pleasure to visit New Year's Dinner! We had a fantastic six-course set menu at the newly renovated Bay House. Our hosts were regularly at Steve Kevin's old water location, but that was the first visit to the new site. From the inventive Amuse Bouche (the tea! to the whimsical and slightly decadent dessert, each individual element was a hit. While the group was split into the scallops (I loved them), we all ran over the Zaire. The Muscovy duck was the best I had. Steve's team's service was just right, very attentive, but not intrusive. And as always, Steve is a warm, authentic and dedicated host. We will definitely come back!

They have a 3 course and 6 course fixed price menu. Portions are generous and well prepared. We had the 3-course. Selections pictured include a beat salad and a halibut main. Offered was a wine paring with the 6-course, but didn't work well with the 3 and our choices so we picked a separate bottle from their very extensive selection. We visit the Bay House for an occasional treat.

I rarely give 5 stars...but The Bay House definitely deserves it. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was soooo much food... Soooo much delicious food. We ended up hurting ourselves because we couldn't stop eating. I highly recommend the tasting menu. They have a pretty extensive wine list also....well not really a list but a wine binder with a table of contents.
