Saffron Indian Bistro - Glendale

My first visit to the restaurant was excellent. During my second visit, I ordered 86 rice and samosas at 7 o'clock on Friday. I will definitely go back again. The food tasted delicious and the service was decent. I noticed some tension between the manager and a young waiter. At one point, the door to the kitchen accidentally swung open, which was a bit awkward as it happened a few times while I was eating.

I used to live in Glendale while I was in school, and this restaurant was hands down my favorite place to eat. I may not be an expert in Indian cuisine, but I can attest that the aromas and flavors were fantastic. The chicken and lamb dishes were always juicy and perfectly cooked. Since moving to Tempe last summer, I have tried five other Indian restaurants, but none have come close to this one. I will always make a point to stop here whenever I visit Glendale!

This restaurant is extremely welcoming and professional. The food was incredible, so much so that I bought some to share with friends so they could experience how amazing dining here really is. If you're looking for high quality, delicious, and overall wonderful food, this is the place to go. I was so impressed by the food that I didn't want to stop eating.

Saffron is an absolute gem! not only the owners warm and welcoming, but the eating is authentic as the oma back there cook it yourself! the butter chicken is the best I ever had and the naan is exceptional! worth the running gear from anywhere in the phoenix area!

Very disappointed in the food. The kofta curry was tangy, saag paneer wasn’t even cooked completely, I could taste the rawness of the saag. The gobi in the gobi machurian was literally raw, white from the inside! It was like fried salad. The pakoras had too much salt in them. Absolutely not worth the price.
