Jax Fish House Oyster - Glendale

Table was dirty when we sat down hostess didn't seem to care, portion of fish was small for the $40 price. Had to get our own settings and side plates when food was served. Server saw us do it and didn't apologize. Flavors were ok, but not reflective of $38-40 plate prices.

We had an extraordinary meal delivered by a fantastic server. We even met the chef who was very gracious. I can't say enough good about this restaurant! All seven of us loved it

The food was good. The atmosphere was nice, although the server forgot at least two of our items, including the oysters that we had ordered in the beginning. We had mentioned it to him multiple times and they still never came out. Our drinks and water were never refilled until we asked another server walking by. People around us got their oysters but not us. Other than that, the food was good, luckily the other server was taking care of our drink refills and clearing our table after he noticed we weren't getting served (hense the 3 star) because our primary server was not very good ....even though he was training another new server. His attention to detail was non-existent.

Happy hour oysters, mussels, and martinis on Monday's is a great deal.

Maybe we hit a bad night...but service was TERRIBLE!! Waitstaff greatly overworked- We had four folks, one dinner the food was so bad they apologized and took it off the check! The other 3 dinners were ok,but terrible overpriced- Mahi Mahi dish was ok but $38 for a 4 oz piece of fish???? Really???? Cannot recommend.
