Chess Park Lounge - Glendale

The customer service was missing. server forgot for two of us in our group coffee, because all 8 of us ended our desserts with some lattes. they brought it after we remembered them 20 minutes earlier. my lamb was over boiled when I wanted medium. they came back later when the rest of my friends were made with their mealtimes and still the lamb was moderate and it was not worth (and I know lamb)! the appetizers/starters to share were very small portions. the service was all around slow and we called repeatedly waiter to find our server. we married for the manager who said he was new and did not know the dessert offer. no smooth dinner with a tab over $800. the ambiente and the live music were great. we don't invite friends back to the rest.

Excellent food and service. the healed was perfectly cooked. the lava cake for dessert brilliant. try the ararat cocktail; delish. we were dimming inside. the DJ music sounds a bit high in the outside. met the owner. he is very nice and committed.

It was really nice to eat that was great, service was excellent, definitely will be back. good for everyone.

Had a reservation for a group of 9 and we were greeted by the recipe that was very friendly and we sat without problems. the waiter was great. the variety of food offered meets the expectations of all. eating is delicious and a certain part that there is no remnant. overall happy with this experience. have you been coming back?

Food was good, but it's way overpriced. Cocktails are ridiculously pricy $19 for a basic old fashioned!? Are you kidding me!? No, they are not kidding Service was absolutely terrible. After taking our order, we barely saw the waier again. At one point, while waiting for our foid to come, he asked if I wanted a second drink, and I asked for the menu again. He never came back until I was eating the last bites of my meal. We had to flag down the manager for the check, and then we had to ask the bartender to charge our card. They also put an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill. For service that lousy, I should be getting an 18% rebate. Just a terrible experience. Would not recommend nor return.
