Bistro On The Glen - Glendale

This is a comfortable and homey restaurant for breakfast where it feels like you’re having some brunch at the cozy home of a favorite aunt. The service is impeccable, the eggs benedict and chocolate-chip pancakes were certainly world class, and I’m coming back here again as soon as I can. Great place!

Softly played piano tunes and bistro decor made this a pleasant outing. Host was cheerful and initially attentive, but our drink order was unusual (chocolate malt, rather than alcohol) and didn't arrive before the meal (probably was never made), so we cancelled it. The waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Tenderloin was amazingly tender, garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, and the garnish of onion rings hit the spot. Ribeye steak was deliciously grilled, but had a lot of fat and grizzle, and therefore was understandably chewier than my husband's tenderloin. Baked potato was generously sized; sauteed mushrooms were a treat. Overall, we set out to have a nice steak dinner, and mission was accomplished.

Have enjoyed this resturant for years. Terrific diner food, excellent service, good prices, clean.

Please be mindful when you're ordering from here. I looked at the menu online, tried to call to place an order, was hung up on twice, then I went to place an order in person and the prices are higher on their menus than whats online and then the price was even higher on my receipt. The only explanation I was given was, the person needs to update their site online and they believe it was extra for cheese. I said well I asked for light cheese and you still charged me a whole extra 1.00, all I got a shoulder shrug. I won't be back!!!
