Starbucks - Glencoe

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming! The interior looks relatively new. You can order either in-person or through the app, and both options work seamlessly.

I visited this place every day for my usual post-workout drink, and today I experienced exceptional service that deserved my gratitude. I accidentally spilled half of my drink on the way to the table. The staff not only offered to clean it up, but then, just five minutes later, they came back with a brand new drink for me. I never expected them to go above and beyond like that. What an amazing team!

Great Starbucks but there is also another large local coffee shop on the street. I split my time between the two. Both shops are great so you don't really need to select favorites. I recently noticed that Starbucks is less packed and has shorter lines, so I usually go there. Also online ordering is great when it works, but sometimes the app says that all sandwiches are not in stock if they are not.

The restaurant has recently undergone renovations, but unfortunately, the fireplace has been removed, which is a bummer. It used to have a cozy, local vibe, and now it feels more like a place to sit down and write or hold meetings. While there are a few power outlets for devices, they are not located at any of the tables. Although the new layout has created a more open floor plan, it feels smaller than before. The old, comfortable upholstered chairs have been replaced with clean, light wood furniture. Overall, it’s a solid recommendation for a casual outing with friends, but it doesn’t quite earn a full five stars, particularly because they installed at least one electric fireplace.
