Shanghai Garden - Glencoe

The staff was polite and friendly, and the Chinese food was excellent. I dined in for lunch, spending around $20–30 per person. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Kung Pao Squid and Hunan Beef.

The food was delicious. It was just not clear about their menu; there were none at the restaurant so there were discrepancies between what I saw online and what I was told I could order. While waiting 12 year olds came in and out with ice cream bars and I couldn't see where they got them from. Glencoe is bizarre.

The restaurant is consistently excellent. We really enjoy the flavors of the dishes. The staff is friendly, and our orders are always ready on time. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting.

The food lacked flavor and was quite bland. The potstickers were doughy and soft, even after I requested them to be cooked well.
