The Bernerhof Inn - Glen

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the amazing hot tub. The inn had a cozy feeling to it. The breakfast was also delicious. We wish we had stayed for two nights.

The house and property were beautiful. The breakfast and cookies were delicious. The location was great. Overall, we had a nice time but there were some issues. We arrived at 10 a.m. as planned, but no one was there to greet us or give us the keys even though we had informed the owner of our late arrival. Eventually, someone helped us contact the owner and we were able to settle in. When we checked out, there was no one else around. Throughout the night, a loudspeaker near our room played a top 40 radio station, despite our attempts to contact the owner for assistance. The ice rink was lovely but seemed abandoned and covered in snow. The online information about free passes to Great Glen Trails was misleading as they were not offered to us. Additionally, there were blue "life matter" flags on display at the entrance and on the building.

This is hands down my favorite place to stay. The family that owns this establishment are so sweet and caring. They have two precious dogs that welcome you, a beautiful dining area, selective bar, and extremely nice rooms. Thank you for having us and can’t wait to come back December 6th!

Nick is such a great guy. Very friendly and personable. Makes a great drink at his bar. Such a beautiful place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice staff, although underoccupied. the dogs should not be allowed as larger. they grew up with my wife and daughter. a beautiful place. I would stay on the 3rd choice of their list of places. unorganized. overwhelmed. however, they met our needs that were no more than the normal customer. they delivered most of the things that were specified. icy machine didn't work. they delivered me an ice cup. tools on the kitchen line in the second floor. I think they fight because many small businesses are due to covid. I would not say no to this b
