Hot Rod's Hot Dogs - Glen Gardner

First timer. Lady at counter very friendly and told/asked options throughout ordering. Clear menu available help with options. Food was fresh, delivered quickly, hot and as ordered. We took out and sat outside at the picnic tables available. Would definitely revisit. Parking: Parking right out front. Was concerned about pulling back out onto highway but you can drive behind building and exit on the side getting access to the traffic light. Much safer option

Food here is great. Workers (owner) are very nice. Interior was spotless. I think most people buy to-go. Regardless, place is spotless. Every time I travel down 31 I make a pit stop at Hot Rods when I'm headed home.

Owners are awesome. I got there a couple minutes early and they literally ran to the door to open up. Food was good and hot.

I gave Hot Rod’s a try today. I haven’t been here since the new owners took over. I wasn’t a fan of their dogs before as they never had all beef. Food came out quick and the woman at the counter was very pleasant greeting you as you came in and when leaving! Today I ordered “the fryer dog” with brown mustard and onions. It was deep fried beef/pork. It tasted good and much better than before with the old owners. I prefer 100% beef which wasn’t avail (why it’s only 4 stars on food) I posted the menu and I’m guessing they kept the “original dog” from the prior owner that is a boiled Turkey dog. Not a fan of that one. I saw people posting you can get a chili dog here for under $3.00. Not the case any more. See the menu. Good local place for me for deep fried dogs in a pinch. I like to make my own grilled Sabrett’s with natural casing 100% beef when u have time.
