Not only is the food yummy but the staff and chef are super supportive about dietary requirements. Whole menu can be made flexible based on wheat, dairy or gluten free which was so refreshing. Highly recommend.

Been here on a number of occasions and every time I have had a great experience. Lovely food and service. Chefs are dedicated and you can taste it.

Perfect combination of well prepared and delicious food, attentive and friendly service and pleasant environment. So often restaurants around Melbourne just don't reach that special level - wabi delivered. Especially enjoyed a fish dish (grilled black cod), cooked just the right amount and flavoured with a special miso sauce. Desert also wonderful. Alcohol selection included good selection of sake and shochu. Enjoy!

One of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne. Lunch time offers some great cheap eats.Food is authentic Japanese infusion with some not so traditional flavor combinations. Everything on the menu is simply amazing! Staff are Japanese (many Japanese restaurants are usually not staffed by Japanese) The restaurant doubles as a gallery space. so if there is an artwork you adore on the walls, then you can ask the staff for prices. There is an upstairs that extends the gallery space and offers a workshop space for many of the Melbourne Japanese community. I love this restaurant!!!!

Quick, efficient, fresh and delicious. What else would you expect from an amazing Japanese restaurant. Authentic food served with warm hospitality. The Salmon Sashimi was a particularly yummy stand out dish. If you like Japanese food, you MUST visit this place. At short notice they even put together a Happy Birthday desert platter.
