This restaurant punches well above its weight. The food is consistently fabulous. The menu is extensive and anything I’ve ever ordered has been fresh and delicious . Been coming here for years . I dine out often and would have no hesitation recommending it. The wonderful lady who works there everyday is unfailingly friendly and professional as are the others. It is always busy and yet they manage to get every order out on time with a smile . We marvel at her patience with somewhat demanding people at times. A true gem.

We have known the owners for nearly 20 years back when they ran the Hampton Park restaurant. Followed them to Malvern and have never been disappointed with any meals from Pho55. Lots of tasty dishes to choose from. Banter withThao (the owner is a highlight, always have a good laugh : See you again soon for a delicious feast!

The food was amazing. Everything is fresh. For entree I had the beef samosas and was very tasty. For main I had the combination fried noodles and was yummy. Staff are polite and helpful. Best Vietnamese restaurant I have been in the Malvern area. Can’t wait to go back.

The service at Pho55 is horrible. Actually it doesn’t exist. We went on a Friday night for a nice family dinner… but it soon turned ugly thanks to the terribly rude and angry Pho 55 manager. As soon as we sat down it became apparent that we were inconveniencing the manager by dining and supporting her establishment. In the 30 minutes we were there we had to ask half a dozen times to order. To which we received; grunts, being told no, and rudely that we must wait until she’s ready. On about our fifth request to order she began shouting at us and getting too close for comfort. She told us if we don’t want to wait we can leave… and so up we got and left (not without her continuing to yell at us and follow us outside). The best part is there is a big sign at the front that tells customers to be patient and not to abuse staff… the irony. This sort of behaviour is a disgrace. We will never go to this establishment ever again. It is clear they prioritise their takeaway customers over the customers patiently sitting within their establishment. We will also make sure to tell our friends who go here (many of whom are regulars) about the shocking service and rude staff. STAY AWAY!! Rather go to Karen’s Diner, the service would be better!
