LoveLoveLove the food here! This is classic Chinese food prepared and cooked fresh by ex 'Silks' chef Ki Wah Lau.
Sorry to have to give this restaurant only 3 stars, but there is no way around it.
Walked past this place and it was packed so decided to go in and check it out<br/ <br/ We had to wait 2 mins which wasn’t an issue<br/ The food looked and smelled amazing<br/ <br/ We ordered the special fried rice and the Chicken and cashew dish<br/ <br/ Both were amazing<br/ <br/ The rice had a lot of veg and a lot of shrimp <br/ Chicken was nicely cooked <br/ <br/ Wine list had a lot of variety, will be back
This place is a long-time Brighton staple and ever-reliable. We love the window banquette which gives great Church Street scenery and is very cosy in the evening. We went with another couple and just had a few dishes and they are very large so you won't leave hungry... or be hungry and hour later : Our waiter, Joe, was excellent and friendly and attentive and we can't wait to return. It's also BYO with a nominal corkage fee which is attractive.
