The food standards are badly fallen. it is definitiw not cao luke even hoian chicken rice, also swear the same. not authentic or near the fusion. price expensive and small in size. decoration colorful with laternen.
Visit the place in a business trip to melbourne. it was highly recommended by my Aussie and Asian friends. in vietnam as a regular visitor I love the fresh of Vietnamese food. house of hoi-an didn't disappoint me. the prawn in the...Peled kokosnuss is amazing. salate are fresh and have this authenticity as hoi-an. the spiciness also well balanced. service is excellent and well managed. will visit the place where we have again or get around. thank you, if Hoi-an.
Perfect and different Vietnamese. not your typical Vietnamese. tasty average meal. the aubergine shell and the seafood curry in a whole cocose have been killed for. to a local favorite.
After eating in Madam Vy’s restaurants in Vietnam I was so excited to find one in Melbourne, the decor was lovely and took me back there with the lovely lanterns and brick walls, staff were nice enough. I was disappointed with the food though, I...was expecting lots of flavour and freshness but didn’t get it, the food was ok but just not as good, very few fresh herbs and only the faintest hint of chilli, maybe it was tailored to the Australian palette. Also our dinner experience only lasted 30 minutes so felt more fast food than relaxed dining. It was a 40 minute drive for me so I wouldn’t go back.
