Gold Restaurant - Glen Eira

Glen has a sizable Indian community, resulting in some great Indian cuisine options. While slightly on the pricier side, the flavors are top-notch. The variety of curries may be limited for larger groups, but sharing a few dishes (under 5 or 6) allows for a sample of everything. The restaurant boasts a peaceful ambience, and its quality food speaks for itself, overshadowing other nearby eateries.

I strongly advise against ordering or dining at this restaurant as I had a very negative experience.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but some of the dishes fell short. The bhature in the chhole bhature were slightly crispy and fluffy, but the chhole lacked the deep aroma I was expecting from Delhi. The Sarson saag tasted like it was bought from an Indian food store. I had high expectations, but unfortunately the quality of the food here did not meet them.

Gold is simply perfect if you want heart chaats and other Indian almost food. her chole bhathura, pav bhaji and dahi papdi chat are fantastic. they have also arranged a good selection of Indian Chinese and punjabi. the atmosphere in the restaurant is quite good,... although it can be a bit crowded with some waiting on Friday and Saturday night. the restaurant is open in the rule until about 10 on weekday, which makes it quite good. the pricing is also easy on the bag. overall it is the ideal place for eating sporn of the moment.

Love this restaurant i think it has a real authentic taste of indian food, love the chaat item and love there chaat shop
