Situated at the terminating end of Acland Street, this location has been used for a variety of business purposes since the 1800s.This restaurant/bar is quaint & has extensive food & beverage menus. All options are reasonably priced.Specials for food & happy hour for drinks feature daily.Staff were helpful, welcoming, & professional.Live bands also feature at different times/dates.Highly recommended.

If you don't know what you feel like for dinner, Ackland St usually has a solution. Tried Big Mouth & everything works ! The menu, the decor (upstairs & down), the drinks & most importantly, the staff.

We had our drinks upstairs. As before good time, good however I liked the old set up more. Couches, armchairs, nice tables created a very inviting and relaxed atmosphere. It felt more like a club and had good character. This time it felt more like an ordinary bar with tall stools and high tables. We didn’t stay there long, just had some drinks and took off.

Great bar with warm atmosphere. Excellent upstairs area with fire place. Good small bar food. Great for a drink with great view of the passers by in Acland Street. Great service with friendly staff.

Spent an enjoyable lunch with friends. Varied menu to choose from and quality of food was reasonable and service was with a smile. Restaurant holds its own the variety in its area. Worth a visit. Burgers are large and worth a try
