Gem Stone - Glen Cove

This restaurant was opened two months ago! It is the best Chinese food I had in the area and it is affordable. The shrimps with ginger and scaling dish and the chicken with eggplant dish were delicious. We only ordered takeout, but there are a variety of seating in the restaurant. Very recommended!

Wowwww. I can't believe how good a Chinese restaurant can be. This place is really a jewel. I and my buddy were in the area and we're so glad we stopped. Honestly, one of the best meals I've ever had and I don't exaggerate. We had the shrimp dumpling (excellent), chicken frying (boiled for perfection) and the beef pot I could not believe how delicious it was. Would recommend def and will come back def.

Here's a gem. Fresh and delicious. Not greasy like other Chinese places. Very nice people, too. Give it a try, my favorite is the Kung Pah chicken and fresh string beans.

I'm really happy that we decided to try this place! The food is fresh and fabulous. We have watched this location change ownership several times and I hope that the current owner will be around for a while. The portions were generous and the gentleman was very attentive. I had the House Lo Mein and the shrimp were prepared perfectly. My boyfriend had the Mapo Tofu and it was excellent. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed!
