Garvies Point Brewery - Glen Cove

This is one of our regular spots enjoy the beer the food and the atmosphere. We were there the other day when they launched the new menu. I tried a few of the new items the candy bacon was nuts. The meatball is great. I had the meatloaf. It was as good as I get it home. 

We came as a party of seven. When we arrived at the entrance the hostess explained they did not have enough menus. Amongst us we had to share 1 beer menu and we had to use our phone for the food menu. Our waiter “Chris” soon came by and did what he had to to get us all menus. My party all had a good time. The food and portions were good. I was disappointed with the beer. The breweries I’ve been to in the past have had a variety of beers lager Pilsner stouts), this place seems to only brew super sour IPAs. No traditional style beer here.

We love coming here! The food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend going on Tuesday Thursday Tuesday is taco night (I loved the cauliflower tacos the lamb! and Thursday is Sushi night be sure to get a poke bowl or anything with the fresh tuna! Their regular daily entrees are just as delicious so don’t worry if you can’t make it on those days! Now let’s get to the beer WHAT A SELECTION!! They have a fully stocked bar if beer isn’t your thing, they even have specialty cocktails but if it’s beer you seek: you’ll be pleasantly surprised! They have a large selection of IPAs/ Sours/ Pilsners and more! And honestly at $7 $8 a glass it’s not too bad considering you’re dining right on the canal! Most breweries in the area are charging $10 or more for lack luster beer that makes your stomach upset. I’ve never had any issue with this place except for sometimes there is a small wait on weekends (but again it’s worth the wait . The bartenders and staff are knowledgeable about the menu always have a great recommendation if you’re having trouble deciding!!Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend has a peanut allergy and we’ve NEVER had an issue here!

Good beers with a large variety on tap. Good food and service as well.

I had such a great time at this place! Came in my with family and had such a great experience. The drinks were delicious and the burger was fabulous. Our server was Maddy and she was so attentive and got us everything we needed!!! Cant wait to come back!
