Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Glen Burnie

I recently tried a Sunrise Sunset smoothie from this location, and unfortunately, it was quite watered down, which made it unenjoyable for me. I’ve noticed that not all locations of this chain make good smoothies; it really seems to depend on where you go. That's just my personal experience.

I've been a longtime customer and really enjoyed this restaurant, but I've had several negative experiences with their staff recently. Last night, I arrived at 8:20 PM and waited in the drive-thru line, only to place my order at 8:46 PM. An employee named Jasmine informed me that they were closing and was quite dismissive in her attitude. I asked to speak with a manager, but she didn't respond. After this experience, I have decided that I'll never return.

This cafe is a pleasant surprise! The cafe is spacious and modern in design with a bit of a coastal vibe. The staff is friendly and kept very busy at the time of our visit. The smoothies are quite tasty and refreshing. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients. Paninis, flatbreads, wraps, and bowls are on the menu. Plus, for young families on the go, there is a kids menu and all day breakfast options. I love that I have a healthy cafe to go to instead of burgers and fries!!! I reccomend the Sunrise Sunset Smoothie, the Bahama Mama Smoothie as well as the Chicken Caprese and the Buffalo chicken wrap! For those who love pressed Cuban sandwiches, theirs looks delicious! I would have given five stars, however the bathroom is single occupancy and the floor was littered with paper, even though there are no paper towels in restroom only an air dryer. We will definitely return!

I had my first experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was refreshing, with vibrant colors throughout the venue and in the food itself. It’s a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. The staff was quick and efficient, and the establishment was well-maintained. I highly recommend indulging yourself here!

You always get my order right. I like they all still wear masks and all health-conscious customers are respectful. The smoothies are good, we love the chicken caprese sandwich without chicken or with chicken substitute.
