Maria D's Sub Shop - Glen Burnie

I travel throughout Maryland for work and always make it a point to eat at locally-owned establishments. My colleagues were craving cheese steaks, and we came across Maria D's. We ordered three 12-inch subs for five people, which turned out to be more than enough. The subs were generously stuffed, incredibly delicious, and reasonably priced. We were puzzled as to why they provided us with forks, but we understood as soon as we unwrapped the subs. I highly recommend trying this place—you won't be disappointed!

Overall, the food is usually excellent, and the staff are consistently friendly. There's one particularly special lady who stands out among the employees. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable considering the generous portions you receive.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza, which is the main reason for this review. First off, the dough has an incredible structure—no floppy slices here! It strikes a perfect balance: not too doughy, but sturdy enough to hold its shape. The sauce is the most robust and flavorful I have ever encountered. The cheese and pepperoni meld together perfectly, creating an outstanding pizza experience. Lastly, they do something that every pizzeria should be required to do: finish the pizza off with a light sprinkle of oregano.

A family weekend tradition! We love their food and amazing staff.

Excellent Manicott, Stuffed Shells, and a delectable Tuna submarine with about a silver dollar thick amount of tuna salad throughout the whole hoagie is incredible. Prices are affordable relative to quality. Best Italiano grub in the surrounding area.
