Habib Mediterranean Market (glen Burnie)

I decided to stop by on a whim because I didn't feel like driving to Ellicott City for my shawarma fix. The only downside was that I had to call to get someone at the front desk's attention, as it was empty when I arrived and the desk bell didn't seem to help. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The shawarma here is far superior to what I had in Ellicott City, which leans more towards a tzatziki sauce. The wings were comparable to most bar wings—not a major issue since they were still generously portioned—but they weren't anything extraordinary.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. At first, I was a bit skeptical when I walked in since it was completely empty—I even thought they might be closed! This was around 2 PM on a Wednesday. Regardless, I decided to order the gyro sandwich and a side of hummus. Although the meat portion was a bit on the small side—I think they could have added a little more—it was incredibly flavorful. The meat was tender and moist, and it tasted very fresh. The pita bread and yogurt sauce were excellent and really complemented the dish.

Thank you, Yazan! The restaurant is spotlessly clean. Mr. Yazan served me a delicious beef kofta kabab platter, which came with 100 Mediterranean olives, grape leaves, and pickles. The food was delicious! It's conveniently located near the MVA in Glen Burnie. I highly recommend this place for both families and individuals. The staff provided excellent hospitality.

Friendly. Food was hot temperature wise but SADLY it was not fresh. Salad was soggy withered badly. Rice had lots of hard clumps stuck together and peppers/meat were cooked on a used grill top a lot of excess debris on it. Disappointing..

This place is amazing. The people are friendly welcoming. The food is delicious. The price is spot on. We ate on the covered patio and it poured rain but we were dry. Will be back again!
