Texas Roadhouse - Glen Allen

A friend brought me to this place for some after-work drinks and a surprise birthday dinner. As soon as we entered, we were given a ticket and directed to a display case filled with raw ingredients...

This is a standard chain steakhouse. The wait times are quite long, and the service is just average. However, they have a nice variety of food and drink options, with menu selections that cater to all tastes. Overall, there are plenty of choices available.

The takeaway order was disappointing. The meat was extremely overcooked (see photo attached), even though the receipt indicated it was supposed to be rare under the Prime Rib section. This was meant to be a dinner...

The food and drinks here are absolutely delicious. The service I received was excellent. It can get a bit crowded at times, but it’s definitely worth the wait and the price.

I ordered dinner here last night while on vacation. Although they initially got my order wrong, they corrected it today. Overall, it was the best restaurant experience I've had in quite some time. The waitress was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was simply amazing.
