However, the quantity served it less. Which seems fair enough. I tried the Pani Puri (which is a typical Bombay street food). It was quiet spicy than it is actually in Mumbai. But it was an experience. Followed it by butter chicken and garlic naan. Both well done and tasty. Tandoori chicken though was less in quantity but absolutely tasty with mint sauce.
We were here last weekend..had heard rave reviews for this place and was super excited to try the amazing menu. Was sadly disappointed with wot I tasted. Had ordered kheema pav, prawns koliwada, sheekh kebab, veg Frankie, vada pav to start with. Was bit disappointed with the portion size, however taste is wot mattered. The kheema was low on salt and watered down, there was no fat/oil on the surface couldn't taste the masala plus peas in it felt that they were put at the very end where I could taste the water in them, koliwada prawns tasted good. Veg Frankie was just potato stuffing with salads (that's wot is not expected off street food Frankie). The chaat items were okay to taste. Sheekh kebabs were a bit dry but the taste was not bad. The vada pav was a sad let down, the stuffing should be hot and garlicky. Didn't stay for mains as honestly didn't want to be disappointed! Hope it was just a bad day for them, as so many people have rave reviews for them.may be I might try them once more.
We were off to Broadway to see a movie and had two hours to spare so decided to head down to Glebe Point Rd to grab some dinner. I had read some good reviews and saw some great foodie pics on instagram recently so decided to give Bombay Street Kitchen a go. The restaurant is located at the end of Glebe Point rd and Parramatta rd with indoor and outdoor seating. We started with lamb cutlets that were covered in a dark marinade of spices, lime juice, ginger and garlic that were tasty but a little dry. The other entrée we ordered was the Dahi Poori that were crispy semolina pockets stuffed with potatoes, puffed rice and tamarind chutney served with a mint chutney and yogurt, these were great crispy, light, flavoursome and a serving of six. We decided to order two mains with the first one being the Railway Goat Curry this was delicious and the goat was perfectly cooked so it was falling of the bone and it certainly packed a spicy punch. The final dish was the... read more

The final dish was the Komdich Saguti a traditional Goan chicken curry that wasn't as spicy as the goat but had well rounded flavours including chilli, star anise and black peppercorns. The chicken was quite generous and cooked well so it was still moist on the inside. We ended up having leftovers, so the owners were nice enough to give us a container so we could take the rest home with us.
