I popped in to give it a try. With a lunchtime deal of two courses for £5.50, this sounded like good value to me. Unsurprisingly, the place was busy, with a mix of folks for whom Chinese is the mother cuisine, students, and folks from local offices, including a good few people from the nearby hospital. There was a mix of sit-in and takeaway customers.
This Chinese restaurant is my favorite, offering two courses of generously portioned, made-to-order dishes for only £5. It is one of the best value restaurants in Scotland. The food is always fresh and delicious, cooked and served quickly. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from. As a vegetarian, I usually go for the Salt Pepper chips followed by mixed vegetables with different sauces each time. Every meal I have tried has been fantastic. When dining with my wife, our bill comes to around £12, including Chinese tea. Their current trading hours are from 10:30 am to 6 pm, as they are waiting to receive their extended license. Prepare to be impressed!
Great portions and reasonable take out price! Sauce was delicious, roasted pork was tender and the food came quickly!
My partner and I have been dining at this restaurant for several years, and the food is consistently delicious. I have also visited the restaurant alone, and the staff has always been welcoming. The lemon tea is a favorite of mine and adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience.
The dining experience at this Chinese cafe was wonderful. The staff and cook were very friendly, which is typical for this kind of restaurant. While the atmosphere may not be unique, the food was delicious.
