The Hyndland Fox - Glasgow

This restaurant has everything going for it, from the décor and atmosphere to the beautiful people and even the toilets! It's a stunning restaurant with an enticing menu. However, the food was disappointing. After being in Scotland for over a week, this meal was the least impressive. But I have faith that they will improve, and the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The staff were very friendly. If I lived here, I would love to spend time at this restaurant, and I bet the coffee is top-notch.

I was invited to this restaurant to try their festive menu as a food blogger. The food was amazing, the service was very attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. We started with ham hock and smoked salmon starters, followed by perfectly cooked roast leg duck for the main course, and finished with a delightful toffee nut latte. The food quality was outstanding, and the menu was extensive. I was extremely pleased with everything and can't wait to return.

The food was good, but we were not impressed overall. We stopped in for a quick meal before catching our train. The food was tasty, but it took a while to be served. The vegan burger was very dry and not as described, but the chickpea tagine was enjoyable. The prices were a bit high for the quality of the food. We waited at least 10 minutes to pay, despite the waitress knowing we were in a hurry. Unfortunately, we ended up missing our train due to the wait. Overall, we were disappointed with our dining experience.

Chilled out eaterie in the heart of the West End. Great food, friendly staff. Nice for a Sunday fry, and the Al fresco tables catch the summer sun 'till 8pm.

Great wee place for brunch with friendly staff. We ordered the poached eggs and it really hit the spot. Only downside was that we were sitting facing away from the specials board and none of the staff told us the options, was only when we were leaving that we seen we could have had eggs Benedict instead. It also took a while for us to get the bill. That being said, it didn't affect our lovely morning and yummy grub :
