Excellent eating very creative menu and great service
Not being in the center of glasgow helps this restaurant as it has to exist through the call of its eating. I and my guest enjoyed our Saturday dinner here. the setting is 70's international with stands on the street glass window. oyster small but interesting sauces/ supplements. my colley and lobster crack the highlight for me. mustels fine, the Kelp butter with the sourded tasty. j loved her salmon tatare and squash tempura.
The eating is really excellent, with the chef and the staff goes beyond and beyond to produce a menu that with some of the best seafood restaurants in the U.K. the service was timely, friendly, but professional and the waiting staff produced some of the best pre-dinner drinks I had in the old; certainly the best I ever had in glasgow. all in all, my visit to kelp was a truly memorable, and definitiw for all the right reasons. I'm sure I'm back!
A dish described as 'figs in a blue cheese sauce with filo pastry ' came with a lot of 'shards ' of pastry, said sauce and half a fig!
