Came for a meal here with my partner. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and knowledgable about the dishes. A good level of care was taken due to the current COVID-19 situation. We will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a tasting menu experience. I feel torn because the surroundings, the service and the wine was all superb. The food was not the highlight, and this is coming from a foody. Some dishes on our tasting menu were cleverly executed, such as the pickled vegetable; starting sweet and ending acidic very clever, especially when the pairing wine wiped the palate clean. But then other dishes on the tasting menu seemed as though they were there just to fill a gap, such as a parsnip soup and mango sorbet hate to say it, but pretty boring from my perspective! Still tasty, but I lost interest after a while.Despite this, the service was wonderful. We were served by Carly for our wine and she was extremely knowledgable, so passionate and it was clear that high standards of service was her goal. The food wasnt terrible by any means well presented, cooked very well, good flavours but I do feel that they missed an opportunity to demonstrate skill an innovation when we asked for a vegan tasting menu. Our surrounding tables' plates looked much more exciting and I simply stopped eating after a while. I will certainly return but mainly because Glasgow really doesnt have much to offer in the way of fine dining. I wish the kitchen showed more creativity for a vegan menu because if they did, I would never leave the place.Highlights AMAZING wine menu; service is outstanding, all servers were trained to high standards but particularly Carly and Cal saw that we were well looked after, the atmosphere is perfect. Just show us more creativity in the food please!!!!
