Tasty Treat Drive-Inn - Glace Bay

This Glace Bay establishment has been in business for over 50 years, consistently serving delicious ice cream and burger platters. I have fond memories of hearing their Ice Cream Truck as a child and running home for money to enjoy their tasty treats. The quality of the food and ice cream has remained excellent over the years. Thank you, Tasty Treat, for your outstanding service.

Having grown up in Cape Breton, I have fond memories of the Tasty Treat. I can still recall their commercials, which shows my age. Now living in Alberta, I always look forward to visiting the Tasty Treat during trips back home. Their hamburgers are my favorite, and I even make special trips just to get their Tiger ice cream. I can't wait to visit again in the summer of 2016.

The burgers are delicious, especially with the special sauce. The meals are served quickly and they have real cream ice cream. The restaurant is open seasonally from mid March to late November.

Great spot for a burger, hot dog and deep fried seafood. Great ice cream, both hard and soft serve. Tons of topping options. Clean with a friendly young staff. Tables inside and some great ones outside. Recommend it.
