Colette's Family Restaurant - Glace Bay

By far the best clubhouse sandwich ever! It was so busy when I was there but the service was great! Keep up the good work!

We had several people recommend Colette's and we were not disappointed. We had pouting, chicken, soup (fabulous) and sandwiches. All were hot, large and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Very good value.

Terrible customer service and not the cleanest. This place is very small. Decided to stop by after reading all of the great reviews. Ordered the clam chowder and fish and chips.Was not greeted for quite a while after arriving. Sat ourselves. Seems the wait staff was only interested in talking to locals, although they had a sign that said welcome tourists.My clam chowder came and was delicious for the first few bites until I had found a hair in it. Took forever for the waitress to come by and ask if everything was okay. I told her there was a hair in my soup. She brought it back to the kitchen to show someone, then had the nerve to bring it back and question the hair. I showed her the hair. She said oh, do you want more. No thank you. It was very difficult for me to get my appetite back. I gave the fish and chips a try and they are good.I never received a check so I went up to the counter to pay. Another waitress asked my waitress what table I was at so I could pay (even though my waitress was standing right there and could have checked me out).It was a very uncomfortable experience. Couldn't wait to leave.

Although this restaurant is small, don't let that discourage you from going there, the food and service is second to none, great homemade meals, and portions that are almost hard to finish. The staff are amazing as well. I can't say enough about this place it is so good, you will return, I can guarantee you that. :)

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was about 10am, so I didn't expect it to be so busy, but it was!I ate at the bar (which I often do at restaurants). Service was friendly food was quick and tasty; but the best part was the price!I will be back for sure!!
