Grotto Pergola - Giornico

Not for the first time in this grotto and were never disappointed. Very good food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this grotto!

We had lunch at this grotto, the food was delicious, unique in the region with local ingredients and homemade flavors. The ambience (in the garden sitting outside) was beautiful. The staff/owner was very nice and friendly.

Very nice place to take a break, a lunch, a dinner or to stay there and have a few relaxing days. Very fine cuisine, with local specialties, very tasty and well prepared. Enjoy your time in Giornico, with all the beautiful things and suggestions you can find.... Until then... I am a tourist guide in this village and also in the museum....

We had the most delicious soup d'onion ever and so the rest of the tasty fresh and traditional kooked food, up to an incredible zabaglione (traditional mousse) from the owners Maria and Fiorella (mother and daughter). they lead their place in a passionate way, as expected. Near one of the most beautiful churches in Switzerland (San Nicolao) you will find a real escape from everyday life into a real atmosphere. the restaurant is open all year round and has sweet rooms where you can relax and spend good moments. one of the last real places where you can feel comfortable in old times.
