Filippone - Gioia dei marsi

The hotel Filippone is a wonderful family owned and run hotel. It is surrounded simply by peace. The food is absolutely delicious and local and of very high quality! The staff is very attentive, service oriented and caring . The rooms are nice. The pool area is spacious and comfortable and the gardens around the hotel well kept.

I spend 6 weeks in Filippone in 1998 for work and returned for the first time 3 years ago and this year again. Every time again it feels like I’m coming home. Franco and his team are very welcoming and do everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious and we left both nights completely full. We’ll be back again.

Excellent service and great restaurant hotel highlights: Great view, quiet, great value

We spent wonderful days, pampered, sitting in front of the big fireplace in the entertainment room, delicious food, different specialties. Great location to move. The good rooms, but above all sanctified before arrival. The kind owner and ready to meet the customer's requests.. We found ourselves very well. We'll definitely come back. Rooms: Our room was air-conditioned, with clean bathroom, cleaning and linen every day

It's nice here and the restaurant is very good. I never failed that sometimes hotel rooms have very few outlets. In this case, I had to leave my stuff on the floor next to the door, and ended sitting over there to complete some emails for work. Not optimal. The lobby makes it a bit, with a cozy fireplace, and the friendly dogs at the front as well as the mountain paths for jogging really increase the quality of the stay.
