Highway Hotel - GIN GIN

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! It's not your typical pub fare. The duck was incredible and the lamb rump was juicy and tender. They also offer vegetarian choices and a kids menu.

I had a great experience dining at this restaurant in Gin Gin. The meals were delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely come back for another wonderful meal in the future.

I recently had a Sunday lunch at Raffles and was pleased with the friendly staff who made everyone feel welcome. It was a nice change from the typical grumpy and disaffected bar staff who couldn't care less. I had the Roast of the day with dessert for $19, which was a great value. The pork was delicious and some of the best I've ever had. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. For dessert, I had a sticky date pudding. I can't praise the atmosphere created by the staff enough.

My partner and I had a great meal in the beer garden tonight. We were permitted to have our dog under our table. As we were travelling we really appreciated not having to leave him outside. My partners surf and turf was fantastic… the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. I had a chicken Parma. My standard order… it was as good as I have had anywhere and accompanied by generous serves of fresh vegetables. The staff were very friendly and welcoming we were served promptly. My bitters lime and soda was the best I have ever had.

I have been here twice. You will be served by very lovely and warm people. Food is great quality in rather big serves. And, I believe it is very very cheap for its quantity and quality. Try this place once, you will definitely keep going back whenever you pass Gin Gin!
