Don't waste your time lining up for greasy fish and chips on the main drag. Just around the corner is this gem. It has a patio and indoor tables. Fish (pickerel in light batter made of panko) and chips were exceptional. But the fish tacos would make the trip to Gimli worthwhile. Perfectly done pickerel in panko, with cabbage and a delicious sauce. This place is also a humming music venue based on photo-lined walls. This is a find. I can't wait to come back.

Wow. Had the best poutine! The service was attentive, efficient and friendly. They know their stuff. Excellent selection of beer on tap and bottled. Glad to have gone there. They have karaoke but not the night I was there but hope to join in the next time I go. Very intimate and the live music was great.

After an long tour motorbike ride from Winnipeg, we were hungry. What we didn't know, is there was a cat show going on. It was packed and Centre street was closed. After a walk to view the cars, we found the Ship and Plough, it was packed so it must be good. The Pickrel fish tacos were superb and the club sandwich very good. Despite the crowd, our food was out in a very timely manner, we were actually surprised. Only comment, order more if you're looking for a hungry man meal, portions ate small. All in all, good food, fantastic service! I would return.

Went here for supper.Told it would be slow due to training new chef.Ordered and had a few drinks while waiting.Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.Food took 50 minutes to come out.Food was good especially poutine,quesidilla and clubhouse ok ribs dry and not to tender.Had live blues music which was great.
