Gimli Hotel Restaurant

We came here for lunch while having a look around the shops, the hotel is very out dated but the staff and the food is very good.

I ordered 2 Classic breakfast at 1 :30 this afternoon . It is great they serve all day breakfast for take out . Included 2 eggs over middle easy , 3 bacon crisp , hash browns cube fried potatoes , rye toast light butter for take out The restaurant was very busy and open until 2 pm. My order was ready in 10 minutes packaged nice firm take out container and in a paper carry bag with carry handles I walked 5 minutes to my destination at Lakeview Hotel and the food was nice and warm and cooked exactly to order Ed

Although I think this place has slipped in the last 6 or 8 yrs, it is still a reasonable place to stop for breakfast at a reasonable price. Friendly place with many local patrons. Our meals were consistently decent, but at this point they only take cash for payment. Our server must be a new employee as she struggled somewhat but one must be patient as we all start somewhere at times. This place is always a consideration for breakfast due to consistency.

Good basic food. I`ve only had breakfast here but the food was basic greasy spoon good. The decor is spartan but the staff was friendly, just like eating at moms house.

This place is a must....it's been trapped in 1970 decor. The staff are amazing, food is great and prices are crazy cheap!
