Ten Japan - Gilroy

This family-owned sushi restaurant offers food that is prepared with both skill and love. The fish for sushi and sashimi is fresh and served in generous portions. The sushi rice is delicious, made with a homemade rice vinegar. We also sampled the shrimp tempura, which was wonderfully crispy, and the miso soup was exceptionally well done. This place is definitely worth a visit, but be warned—it’s so good that you might find yourself ordering more and more. We were so engrossed in the food that we didn’t take many photos, so we borrowed a couple from Yelp that looked familiar. The sashimi shot captures one of our many plates, and we realized to take a picture only after we had already started digging in!

Wow! I have lived in Gilroy for over ten years and just discovered Ten Japan!l There sushi is amazing- i highly recommend the Citrus roll and Mexican Roll (this roll is Spicy AF though but so delish)My 8 year old got the teriyaki chicken and gyoza- wow! Chicken was juicy and a ton sauce- so yummy! I have been to other Japanese restaurants in town and Ten Japan is by far my favorite! Not many tables inside if you want to sit down but takeout works too! Only downside is no kid portions but not a deal breaker. Go to Ten Japan- best sushi restaurant in Gilroy!

Amazing service and incredible, quality fish. I lived in Hawai'i for 4 years; so you can trust me when I say Ten Japan has the best quality fish in gilroy!

Love this place! Definitely the best sushi spot in Gilroy. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing, the food is spot on delicious, and the service is very friendly. My husband and I have been coming here often for the last year. Whenever we want to eat out it's never a question of where, we always go here. At least once every two weeks, but sometimes as often as two times a week.The yellow tail carpaccio is my favorite, along with the 49er roll, but I have ate extensively off the entire menu and nothing disappoints. They also have specials you can ask the waiter about and you end up with such creative and delicious dishes. Oh, and the ramen is sooo good. It is a small restaurant without much seating, but it's worth the wait.
