Old City Hall - Gilroy

The drinks were not great-they put vermouth and soda in the old fashions? It is clearly labeled on the menu but it was as bad as I expected. The cosmo was basically just a vodka cranberry The roasted garlic was very under done as well. There were several cloves that were straight raw, but enough were roasted and buttery that we still enjoyed it. Best cheese curds we’ve had outside of Wisconsin! Grilled chicken Caesar was fine, but nothing to write home about. Service was good, and the atmosphere is great. Feels like a hometown bar and grill, but definitely not “fine dining” like google has them categorized as.

Vegetarian and meat options were great. Dinned at launch hour on a weekend...very busy slow food delivery, but it was wicked busy with a large grad party on the patio. Had the beef dip with auju dip decent. Really neat atmosphere, good food, for first go I wouldn't say AMAZING FOOD but will definitely return. Worth giving a shot.

Great breakfast, super cool venue, and attentive staff. It’s a neat place in Gilroy just on the South side of town.

So many different options on the menu. This is a great way to preserve a historical place. I will definitely go there again!

What a find! If you find yourself in Gilroy,CA, don’t pass this one by! Amazing food, service and ambiance. It’s housed in the historic city hall, with the old jail providing the space for the restrooms. Everything is fun including the music and line dancing lessons every Wednesday night. Great adventure- bring your appetite!
