La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe

During my visit to Arizona, I stopped by this bakery and café. They offered a variety of pastries, food, and coffee. I tried the caramel latte and found it to be just right - not overly sweet. For Thanksgiving, we ordered the incredible coconut custard cake and the delicious pumpkin tart. I can't wait to return and sample more of their menu items. The attentive and friendly staff only added to the enjoyable experience.

If you have a sweet tooth, this restaurant has amazing treats. I can't wait to try their lunch and other dishes next time. The dark cherry yogurt danish was delicious, fluffy, and savory. I originally went for the creme brulee, but ended up wanting more. They offer a wide selection of fresh, tasty dishes that look great and smell amazing.

Upon entering the restaurant, you grab a menu and wait in line to place your order before having your food brought to your table. I wasn't a fan of the tomato soup, but the salad was generously sized. I probably should have ordered a half portion. They also offer a complimentary bread station, although during COVID times it might be more practical to provide a slice of French bread with each order, a la Panera Bread. Sitting by the fireplace added to the overall pleasant dining experience.

Nice little Cafe, its cute, clean and well decorated. The food is decent but pre-made then heated when ordered. I also bought some desserts to eat later tonight and they look amazing! There are enough good looking foods on the menu that I'd like to come back and try other things. Give this place a try!

I'm not sure this is exactly what they serve in downtown Paris, but maybe they should try it. Pastries look quite European. The breakfast menu is mostly American and the lunch is a mixed bag. Inside seating is surprisingly large around a wonderful fireplace (very handy for those cold summer days in Arizona). There is also a large outdoor seating area.
