Joe's Real Bbq - Gilbert

The barbecue at this restaurant is delicious and affordable. I paid $30 and received 4 generous portions of meat, 3 sides, and a drink. There are less expensive choices, but even splurging didn't cost me a lot. The food is served cafeteria style: you line up, grab a tray, and tell the staff what you want. They are friendly, although you don't interact with them much. The restaurant has a typical barbecue joint decor with picnic tables and both indoor and outdoor seating. Be prepared to eat a lot when you come here.

I recently visited Joes and had their bbq chicken salad with chipotle dressing. I was not disappointed!!! The dressing was delicious and the spice in the bbq sauce complimented it really well. The behind the counter service was quick and friendly and the open layout lent a friendly atmosphere. I recommend to all bbq and salad lovers

Excellent quality, nice assortment of sides, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! Do yourself a favor: order too much food and take it home!

Joe's was on my list for the longest time so we finally got to try it. It was a Saturday evening and the place was buzzing with so many people but there were many open tables. You order at the counter and then take your food to your table. The place is so busy and things move very fast. Even though the Line was long, it didn't take us long to order and get our food. They work like a well oiled machine. When you're ordering, you are able to grab the drink first then your tray. You choose your meet and sides and you move along the line. They serve within seconds. We got the brisket and chicken as well as a baked potato to share, corn bread and my husband picked the potato salad. The meats were tender and juicy and the sauces, bbq and mustard based were very completing to the food. The corn bread was good. The baked potato was delicious. It was very traditional with sour cream, butter and chives but it was excellent! What we enjoyed about the food the most is that the meats were not greasy, something we experienced at other bbq places. Their prices were average. It is a very good option for bbq in the area!

Amazing food and the ambiance is comforting. The service was good everyone I came into contact with was smiling.
