Halftime Sports Saloon - Gig Harbor

The bar is spacious with pool tables and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the bartenders I've encountered seem to focus mainly on the regulars. I believe in tipping at least 25% as long as I'm acknowledged, but Kyra barely acknowledged me, let alone asked what I wanted to drink. Her attention was solely on the regular customers.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. The food is delicious—highly recommend the tacos and nachos, although everything on the menu is excellent. Also, don’t miss Trivia Night on Tuesdays, complete with music and billiard tables for some extra fun!

Derek, if you're unhappy with your job, it's better to be honest and move on. My second experience here was disappointing. During the summer of 2022, the afternoon was quiet, yet Derek served us with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm. Tonight, his attitude was even worse. I won't be coming back. Gig Harbor has plenty of bars to choose from, but I won't be visiting this one again. Step it up, Derek.

The Halftime is nothing special physically, but it is reminiscent of 1000s of town local bars where you can have cheap beer and fun, eating fried bar food (good nachos) occasional live music, pool, golden tee, trivia video games etc...its a homey local staple of Gig Harbor where the real people go.

I know the owners and they run a tight ship.This is a place where you can go an play some pool, maybe do some karaoke or even have a trivia night.The only think I have not been able to talk him into is having live music again.Don't get me wrong, I understand his reasoning and it's valid, but sometimes I just want to listen to some live music.The Staff are amazing and most of the people are really great people but just like any other Saloon, you gonna have that one person to have to much of something and act a fool.Trust me that get taken care of real quick.If you think you might act a fool, this is not the place to visit.Ok Y'all in closing I give this place a big thumbs up for many reasons.
