Rosemary Grill - Gibsonton

We ordered a gyro platter through DoorDash but it arrived without any gyro meat. After calling the restaurant, they told us to return the incorrect order and they would prepare a new one. However, when my husband went to Rosemary Grill, the worker/manager refused to give him a new platter without the original one. Despite us never being told to return the wrong order, the manager insisted we were. We ended up throwing out the food and my husband was disappointed that the manager lied about providing a replacement. He expressed that he would not be returning to the restaurant, both in person and through delivery services. The gyro platter we received only had rice and salad, no gyro meat. This was a very disappointing experience for us, especially for my husband who values good customer service. We will not be patronizing Rosemary Grill again after this incident. My husband and I decided to make a pit stop at this restaurant as we were passing through the area and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and you could tell it was made with love and care. I opted for the chicken shawarma and my husband tried the platter with chicken and traditional gyro - both dishes were bursting with flavor! The sauces were fantastic, the veggies were fresh, and the homemade baklava was amazing. Malak, the owner, and his staff were incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions we had about the menu. We will definitely be returning to dine here again if we are in the area!

I gave this restaurant three opportunities to get my order right. The prices are higher than what is listed on Google. The first time I ordered calamari, it was overcooked and burnt, not like the picture on display. The second time, a friendly server messed up my entire order, giving me wings and blue cheese instead of wings and shrimp. I was in a rush so I took it and left. The staff tried to fix the mistake. The third time, a young worker was talking about customers as they left the restaurant and was pushy when I just wanted to order wings without a combo meal. It was frustrating not to be able to get a simple order right.

Wanted to give a 4.5 but felt it would hurt them. Everybody expects higher than it should be. Well, the food was good, gyro looked better than my grouper sandwich. Felt the decor was like a school cafeteria. Needs warm art on the walls and maybe around table for large groups in center of room. And last, real plates would be nice. I would go back again in the future.

The food is way beyond delicious. Excellent service, the cooks and staff are amazing ! ! ! I will definitely return and bring family and friends. BEST FOOD IN TOWN
