Blue Star Cafe - Gibson City

GREAT FOOD! REASONABLE PRICES!! Can not say enough about how great their food tastes. Real home cooked food.

I have been eating at blue star for 20 years. It has always been consistent in food quality and service. They have the best Tacos and chli around. The price is fair though they like everyone else have increased theirs since the pandemic. I won't be eating there quite as often since i no longer work in gibson city. If your ever around gibson be sure and stop in.

Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who let us choose our table. The seating was spacious, and it wasn't too crowded. I only had $10 to spend on lunch for my 6-year-old daughter, which turned out to be more than sufficient. She ordered a hot dog, fries, and a Sprite for just under $7. It was a generous portion. The waitress was very accommodating when I opted out of a drink and meal, bringing me some water instead. My daughter declared that the fries were the best she's ever had, and she enjoyed the hot dog as well. Our meals arrived quickly, making for a pleasant experience overall. I would definitely recommend this place, and we'll be back as a family the next time we're in the area. You should check it out too! Just remember to park in the side lot to find the entrance!

As first-time visitors, we were thoroughly impressed with the impeccable service, delicious food, and great value. I highly recommend this family-owned gem!
