The Crispy Crunch - Ghent

Not a pleasant experience... Although the saleswoman walked back and forth between the counter and the kitchen several times, I was not greeted or noticed as a customer. When you can finally order, they charge the most expensive (as in most sandwich shops, there is an additional charge for vegetables and brown bread. Although this was not requested, it is still charged). I specifically requested a sandwich without tomato, the order goes straight to the kitchen and then you get a sandwich with tomato. Fortunately, I am not allergic and I liked the food itself (after I removed the tomato of course).

So good. You can tell it is authentic. They were also really nice and used sunflower oil instead of gee for my Biriani cuz I'm vegan.

I had seen this place a few times but with a name like Crispy Crunch I never expected to find very tasty Indian food there. They also serve sandwiches (broodjes) but I've only ever had their Indian offering. A previous reviewer mentioned that their dall and their fish molly were fantastic and I completely agree. The owners are also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
