China City Restaurant - Gevelsberg

There is always a good choice to have and I have always enjoyed my visits. the waiters are friendly and service is normally fast enough. however, beware at the payment of the bill. the restaurant takes only cash or ec card. when I first produced my MasterCard debit card, then my Visa debit card, I got empty looks, who said “Come from planet Zog?” Luckily my daughter paid the bill and I immediately transferred the money back to her, but it could have proved embarrassing!

It was a very bad restaurant with bad food. the waiter was not nice, it was really hot in restaurant, no reward machine.

The restaurant had a large selection of meals from the buffet, although a bit chaotic and as expected, busy. I would definitely recommend that they make a mess.

It's a pretty big restaurant with great prices, specially if you go during the happy hour. They have a huge variety of food, with like, 3 different buffet tables (1 for dessert and sushi, one for the raw food for grilling and one for the...hot dishes . The sushi is very fresh, they have a big variety of fish, fruit and desert and the service is usually fast even when the restaurant is full. The only thing that's kinda lame is that most of the food in the hot buffet is fried (so not good for diets! and some of the desserts are so so (but they do have good ice cream and lots of fruit . Anyway, it's a good place to go with your family and try a little bit of everything.

China City ist groß und geräumig. Die Ausstattung ist genau wie man es erwartet und das Buffet ziemlich groß. Neben Vorspeisen wie Salaten, Frühlingsrollen etc. gibt es zahlreiche vorbereitete Speisen und auch die Möglichkeit sich ausgefallene Fleischsorten wie Zebra und Krokodil sowie Fisch und Meeresfrüchte zubereiten zu lassen. Leider war bisher nie alles in Ordnung. Mal das Essen kalt, mal der Kuchen zum Nachtisch ausgetrocknet, etc. Wir nennen es solide...
