Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately a disappointing experience. Our room had a leaky toilet so the bathroom floor was flooded and the room smelled terrible. We got moved to another room that didn't smell much better, and the carpet was dirty and sticky. The sheets also did not appear or smell clean, and the sheets were too small for the bed. No rooms at this hotel included king-size beds, and the full-size bed and floppy mattress was cramped for two people. The air conditioner did not work and would only pump out warm musty air. No shampoo was provided; the dispenser was empty. Towels smelled musty. We paid over $200 for one night stay, and that did not come with any complimentary breakfast. A basic breakfast of scrambled eggs and a waffle costs over $30 for two people.

This was a pretty disappointing HGI experience. The first room we checked into had a flooded bathroom, so we had to switch rooms. Unfortunately, this put us on a lower floor where sports teams were making noise in the hallway until well after midnight. The sheets on the bed were so narrow that they barely covered the bed, like full size sheets on a queen bed. The bulk shower shampoo was completely empty.The thermostat in our room was almost entirely dysfunctional. Our only option to stop it from blowing heat was to turn it off altogether.Finally, after paying $200/night to share a queen bed, I was disappointed to discover the next morning that no breakfast options were included. Not a great experience.

The staff at Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg was super helpful. They also have a meeting room that accommodates large groups. This location has a Restaurant on site with a full bar. If you were looking to get a nice snack before going to bed or going out for the evening look no further also, the manager on duty was helpful and accommodating. Oh did I mention they have a pool and weight room in case you decide to get buff while out of town.

Stayed here for my son's Gettysburg College baseball camp. The hotel is located just outside of town. The hotel is clean, the rooms and bathroom are standard for this level of hotel. They have a bar in the lobby, the staff are friendly. There was ample parking but I didn't see any ev spots. The rate is in line with the level of hotel. Amenities are fine but not great. Did I mention the hotel was clean? I would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommend the rooms were spacious clean. Great location and history of the property staff was great pool and hot tub were very relaxing will stay again on next trip.Rooms: 5/5
