The food at this restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend trying the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower as an appetizer - we couldn't decide which one was better, they were both delicious and complemented each other perfectly. I opted for the strawberry fennel salad with added salmon and every bite was enjoyable. Our waiter was exceptional, answering all our questions about the area and even recommending a historic hike for us to try. The view from our table by the window was stunning, allowing us to admire the historic downtown buildings and look up their construction dates online. They also offer gluten-free bread, which was a plus for us. Overall, every aspect of our meal was wonderful. We decided to try Food 101 based on a local's recommendation and we were blown away! We ordered sandwiches and they were fantastic. The tuna sandwich was especially delicious, and the chicken sandwich with apple butter was also great. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. The food was fresh, prepared perfectly, and served quickly. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere that we really enjoyed. We highly recommend this place for a great lunch experience. Went here for their reputation on find me gluten free as someone with celiac disease. I got their signature burger on a gluten free bun and a side of grapes (the only gluten free side). The burger was absolutely amazing! The place itself is very cute but very small on the inside. The service was awesome and I appreciated them being so honest about what would/would not be cross contaminated as being contaminated can ruin my entire trip so I truly do appreciate it. They do have outside seating but we went at the worst time of day because the sun was beaming on us and the umbrellas unfortunately did not help to shade where we were going to sit. The only thing I can hope for the future of this restaurant is that they add more safe gluten free options to their menu. This would've been my go to the whole time we were in gettsyburg had they had a few more options that were safe for me.
