Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent location. Nothing to complain. Enjoyed the stay very much. When back in Quito definately take another chance for Dinner at Portum!
I had a problem with an important reservation for me but the company was able to apologize and offer a professional solution demonstrating quality in service. I still don't taste the restaurant's gastronomy but I'm anxious to do it.

I went after reading comments, online reviews and reviewing your website. Maybe that's why my expectations were too high. My grade would be 3.5 stars if you could. The service had two extremes, the head of the floor knew a lot, knew the letter and made good recommendations, the chef also came out and recommended us tickets. The waiter instead did not know the letter, did not listen to what we told him and in general affection our experience. The food in general very rich, the octopus to the roasted olive and aji risotto with lamb were perfect, delicious. They deserve to be mentioned also the corvine tyre and the deck roofs. Other dishes were not very good, we were about cooked and other quite insidious desserts. The place is very nice, few tables and a simple but welcoming decoration creates a very good atmosphere. It describes itself as an author kitchen with local ingredients but the lamb is Uruguayan, the Paraguayan loin and many other ingredients are not local at all. I hope and in the future they can use more local and Ecuadorian elements and less imported ingredients.
