La Piovra Bedfordview - Germiston

If I had to choose what my last meal on earth would be, it would be pizza from La Piovra. I have never tasted pizza so incredible. My partner and I are there basically every week. Really friendly staff too! The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because the lighting in there is WAY too bright. It needs yellow light not white light. It’s very uncomfortable for the eyes and I’ve witnessed a few people complaining to the staff about it during all the times I’ve been there. Please can something be done? We love sitting down and eating but after an hour we just can’t do the bright lighting anymore.

Just has La Piovra cancel a large order placed via Uber Eats. Unacceptable. Will never order from them again. Blatant disregard for their customers. Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Cannot rate La Piovra highly enough!! From the great food to the friendly welcoming service; there's not a thing that wouldn't make me want to come back. My large table of 8 were thoroughly impressed, we will all be back!! Thanks so much for a special night! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service was very friendly and efficient. We requested that our pizza be done as calzone despite our choices nit being on the calzone menu, we were accommodated. Will definitely be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 250–300
