Swanky's Taco Shop - Germantown

I arrived at the restaurant at 12:23 for lunch and had a bit of a wait to place my order, around 25 minutes. Once back at the table, our food arrived just 6 minutes later. We both ordered barbecue items that are prepared in the back. The taco variations are displayed right in front of you, which is a nice touch. I have to say the shrimp tacos were quite good, and my partner enjoyed their chimichanga, although the plastic knife provided could have been better. The chips and salsa had a unique spice to them as well. The portion sizes were generous, and we both left feeling full. If you’re coming during your lunch hour, be aware that it might be a bit tight on time unless you work nearby; otherwise, it only takes a few minutes of waiting. Enjoy your visit!

We visited Swankys and had a mostly positive experience. The food was fresh and tasty. However, the only issue we encountered was the speed of service; it was somewhat slow, and we had to wait longer than expected for our appetizers. On the bright side, our drinks arrived fairly quickly, which was a plus. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

The staff was very friendly. The chicken quesadilla comes with chips and salsa, and it tastes great at an affordable price. The roasted cheesecake is also fantastic! I appreciate how neatly and organized they pack everything for takeout. I will definitely be back soon!

Great taco restaurant. It reminds of Chipotle, but better in every way. You have tacos, burritos and burrito bowls. You will get to mount your order with choice protein, vegetables and sauce. I had the fajita steak who was still juicy because he was under the heat lamp of death. If you are looking for Mexican style food, I recommend checking this place.
