Bonchon Seven Hills - Germantown

I went there with parents for a casual lunch. But, we were so disappointed. It was very slightly rainy. The floor of the restaurant was very slippery. It was very hard to walk on it. We had to hold the chairs and move. Not sure it is slippery all the time or just that day. There were only a cashier and a waitress. They were very polite. But, they were too busy to serve dinne in customers. We had to sit there without any service for 20 minutes. I couldn?t wait and go to the cashier to place order directly. And after the lunch, we had waited for half an hour since the cashier said he would brought boxes for us. Finally, I had to went to the cashier and got the boxes myself. One of the boxes was so disgusting a big dried mark of soup or sauce in it. I returned it immediately. As for the food, it was so so. Yes, you can be fed up for sure. I will not go there any more.

Great place for fried chicken. Large seating place and mouth watery spicy signature fried Chicken. Any part of chicken with the spicy sauce is really delicious. It is a must try dish. If you want more spicy, try Fiery Spicy option. Chicken are made to order. We have been regular customers for 4 years. One suggestion is that the consistency of the fried chicken. Most of the time it was juicy, some times it is dry. Drive through, wheel chair accessible entrance, clean restrooms. Entrances faces east and North. Sitting tables, high tables, sofa style and also separated large group seating area available. Hi-chairs for toddlers. Bar area. We moved out of the county, but we still come down to this place. And I recommend it.

I ordered the Katsu Chicken for $15, and it was disappointing. The chicken breast was overcooked and dry, coated in overly fried breading, served on a bed of dry rice. There were no accompaniments like shredded lettuce or anything to enhance the dish. It was just unappetizing. It’s clear that the kitchen staff doesn’t prioritize food quality. If they can’t manage to execute something as simple and overpriced as this, I doubt they can do any better with other dishes. I will definitely not be returning.

The experience was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and dry, with a taste that suggested it had been leftover and reheated. Being the only customer during peak lunch hour speaks volumes. This place used to be quite good.

We really like Bonchon, but we don't visit often because the wait for the chicken can be quite lengthy. This time, though, the wait was relatively short—perhaps because we didn't order drumsticks. The server was attentive, and the food was delicious. Our only feedback is that the chicken pieces in the Crunchy Chicken Bowl could be larger; the double frying made them a bit tough and less juicy. Everything else was fantastic!
